While working at AFG Distribution, I was able to delve deeper into the niche areas of design that are packaging and product development. As a smoke shop distributor, white labeling vendor, and the owner of house brands such as Pulsar Vaporizers, the project work revolved around the recreational smoking industry. A lot of attention to detail in the packaging revolved around abiding by electronics compliance laws, as well as effective communication of information for the end-user to chose, buy, and enjoy the products. The product development work primarily involved in making eye-catching designs and application choices which would result in a satisfying aesthetic product without compromising the integrity of its use.

As with any company's branding, translating a licensed product into its own recognizable and consistent brand design is a significant part of licensed project work. For these products and packaging, the key is to maintain key elements of the co-brands while also keeping the designs fresh and distinctly designed as part of an overarching group of co-branded licensed products.
